- Popular Belgian beer types include: Amber Ale, Blonde or Golden Ale, Brown Ales, Champagne Beer, Pils or Pale Lager, Stout, Strong Ales, Wheat Beers, Winter or Christmas Beers, and recently, India Pale Ales (IPA)
- The New Belgium Brewing company (known for the popular Fat Tire ale) is NOT a Belgian brewer. It is located in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Fat Tire recipe originates from one of the founder’s bicycle trip brewery-hopping through Belgium. So it does have Belgian-influence.
